The Plumtree Border Post came alive on Friday, April 4, as stakeholders, residents, and members of the uniformed forces led by the Plumtree Town Council gathered for the Presidential National Clean-Up Campaign, held every first Friday of the month.
This month’s campaign carried added significance, forming part of the build-up to the upcoming Matabeleland South Provincial Independence Day celebrations set for April 18, 2025, at Plumtree High School. The clean-up saw active participation from members of the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA), and the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS), who are in town from the provincial offices ahead of the festivities.
